Latest Update
Improvements include a revamped Memberships Admin application and some additions to the Jobs and Voting modules. As well as this we have added RSS feeds to forums.
We will be updating all sites by the end of today. You can view the release notes here.
Memberships Admin
There have been a lot of improvements to the Memberships Admin application so we have provided a guide to the changes. We have also updated the documentation on the support site and will be running training courses over the Summer.
Jobs
Although we will be making more improvements to the Jobs module after our Jobs get together in July (see Training below), we have made a few changes in this update. These include:
- Adding a jobs widget so you do not need to use RSS feeds within your site.
- Adding existing organisations as Employers
- Allowing Jobs Admins to add and remove other Jobs Admins within the website
- Option to specify number of positions available
- Full jobs archive
- Allow users to filter the jobs list by application deadline
Elections
We have made some improvements to the Elections Admin area to make the setting up of elections easier. Highlights include making the character limit on Elections titles longer, adding an approve all button to the candidate approval page, automatically adding a candidate's name to the Display Name field when manually adding a candidate and showing the number of withdrawn and disqualified candidates on the review candidates list.

Important
- This release contains changes to the resource list widget that gives you more options (e.g. Filter by most downloaded). This may affect the resource lists you currently have on your site though we will go through and check as much as we can when we update your site.
- Asll applications now require at least version 3.5 SP1 of the .NET Framework on your computer. You can get the latest version from a link on the Application download screen on your admin site.
- If you do not want RSS feeds on your forums let us know and we will not turn it on for your site.
Remember you can view everything that has been released and is being worked on athttp://www.ukmsl.com/support/development/ If you have any questions about these features please email helpdesk.

Training
Training and Get Togethers
We have added a host of sessions to this website. After the success of our Entertainments Get together we have decided to hold a lot more of these informal events where we discuss improvements to an individual module to help us with our system development. If you have a suggestion for any Training or Get together please let us know. We will be adding more sessions (and information to current sessions) as the summer progresses.
Unions 2011
John will be attending SU2011 in Leeds on the 19th July so please say hello, introduce any new staff or ask any questions about any of the new updates and features or he will get lonely.
