We love to hear what drives our MSL community to do more for their students - and to do more of it digitally. We spoke with Lauren Lancaster, 94th President at the University of Sydney, Students' Representative Council, about the digital transformation that has just got underway there. The SRC recently joined the MSL community and we are pleased to be supporting such an important part of student life at the university. Lauren explained:
We wanted to overhaul our digital presence with something more than just another website. We envisaged an holistic resource for students, staff and caseworkers - a place where students could digitally access everything they needed in one place, rather than navigating a piecemeal site created over the years.
MSL will provide the SRC and our students with far more than we had thought possible. As well as a new website, we will have many more capabilities to engage with our users; for example, the collectives we support will have a home on the website with far greater visibility and legitimacy from an external point of view – without the need for separate Facebook pages and groups - meaning students will easily be able to find their communities, support and the representation they need.
