Student Group Finances module - product and development news 

MSL Student Group Finances is the newest module within the MSL System™. Currently nearing the end of its development, this module will simplify access to and assist the management of student group accounts by their committees and members. HISA uses MSL Elections for depute officer elections 

The Highlands and Islands Students’ Association has selected MSL to provide the online Elections platform for use in their officer and depute elections held across their campuses in Scotland. Some 8,500 students in both higher and further education at the University of the Highlands and Islands have access to the new voting facility. Read the news in full.

Sheffield Hallam Sports to use MSL core and elections system

Sheffield Hallam University Sports has chosen to implement the MSL System to support their 40+ sports clubs with a new website, membership management facilities, messaging capabilities, events, ecommerce, ticketing, community and feedback resources. The sports clubs will also utilise MSL’s online elections platform for their annual committee officer elections. Read the news in full.

Brighton SU blog: turning surveys into info-quizzes  

Sam Medhurst, Web Developer & Digital Platform Coordinator at University of Brighton Students' Union shares a student engagement project which made use of core MSL functionality to great effect. Implementing a "get to know your students' union" info-quiz has improved fresher engagement and unearthed new ideas for what else the SU could be doing to support its members. Read the blog.

We're pleased to report that so many of the MSL community celebrated record voter turnouts for their spring elections. As well as the ever-popular live stats to boost participation, a number of our MSL App clients were also able to take advantage of voting on the App for the first time to reach even more voters.
