The helpdesk will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday 16th April and re-opening on Wednesday23rd April at 9am. If you have any issues over the Easter period please email support@ukmsl.comas normal and we will respond on our return.

Staff changes
We are very pleased to announce that we have two new Customer Support Co-ordinators, Lizzie and Amy, who joined us recently.
Richard, Sales Director, has now moved on to start his own venture. He has done a fantastic job with MSL in the last two years and we wish him every success.
Emma, Customer Support Manager, will be sharing time between the Customer Support Team and Sales for the next few months. If you have any queries regarding your cases or projects at this time please e-mail support@ukmsl.com

Report Server move
We’re upgrading the Report Server on the evening of Monday 14th April. All reports and subscriptions will be preserved – please note that it will look a little different following the upgrade.
If you currently log in to the report server with GREEN\username this will no longer work, you do not need to prefix with GREEN\. This is only true for the report server, please continue to prefix with GREEN\ for applications.

Permissions
It is important while using the MSL System that you keep your users’ admin permissions up to date. If any member of staff or user has left or changed roles the following needs to be done:
• If they had Admin Website (blue screen) access please inform us so that we can remove/amend these on their account. We will also remove/amend them on the MSL Support site mailing lists.
• If they had permissions in Memberships admin to be able to access admin/edit areas on your website these will need to be removed from their Memberships Admin profile. Please ensure that you check their “effective permissions” to see if they have been given any other permissions specific to them as a person, as well as the roles to be removed.
As a nominated Site Admin you can request a list of your users on the Admin Website and the MSL Support Site to check that these are up to date and inform of us of any changes. We would recommend you do this as a minimum once per year.
We would also recommend you check your website admin roles/permissions list on Memberships Admin once a month or so and update this as and when members of your team leave and join to ensure it is up to date.

Support Reminder
Just a reminder to please always email in to our support address (support@ukmsl.com) even if you're planning to give us a call - it really helps us to have as much information as possible, such as screenshots and details of what steps you have taken so far. Also, we track all emails and keep records of correspondence, so a phonecall will usually lead to a case being generated in our system anyway.
If you would like an overview of the current cases that are Active or Waiting for Information for your Union (including cases that have been sent by other members of your team) please contact us.
